2022 recruit Elijah Herring is a 6'2" 225 LB linebacker/defensive end at Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro TN. A quiet young man with a lot of raw skill. he has size and quickness and should do nothing but get better. He has a little brother ( 6'5" 220 ) Caleb in the 2023 class that already has a number of offers also.
On the field Elijah is not so quiet, does a nice job of setting the edge and has a good motor. A sure tackler that shows the ability to get off blocks and work through traffic. Still developing as a pass rusher but already very disruptive penetrating the offensive backfield. Very curious to see what he does his senior year because I think he's going to put up some big numbers.

Elijah I guess I am somewhat shy and won't talk to people.
It would be nice to see Elijah and his brother Caleb in Mizzou . I know Elijah is very family oriented and wants to stay close to home, but Columbia isn't that far away. He seems to be the kind of young man that would thrive in our program so we'll just have to wait and see.
